Continuous galvalume line

The product of continuous galvalume line is a kind of strip whose surface is hot dipped with the alloy with the composition of 55% Aluminum, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon. It has excellent corrosion-resisting properties.
Based on the hot dipped aluminum and galvanizing, the GL has been developed successfully, not only it has the good property of resistance to atmospheric corrosion and heat proof inoxidability of aluminum coating sheet, but also has the superior property of electrochemical protection, which make the outcut and scratched places not easy to be eroded and rusty. The main advantage is as follows:
(1) Smooth surface, meanwhile with excellent property of resistance to atmospheric corrosion, and the anti-corrosion life is 2-6 times higher than hot galvanizing steel sheet.
(2) Excellent heat proof inoxidability, and can long time maintain the color under the temperature of 300℃, while long time use under 500℃～600℃. Also it has the advantage of good waterproof property which better than hot galvanizing and hot dipped aluminum coating steel sheet, and ii has the resistance to soil corrosion which better than hot galvanizing steel sheet. It is good material for making car muffler, discharge pipe, foodstuff drier machine, water heater and so on anti-corrosion equipments. In addition, the heat reflectivity rate is higher than 75%, which is twice of galvanizing steel sheet.
(3) Good painting and machining property. Having strong binding power with organic material, it is the optimal choice of base steel sheet for color organic coating. It has the similar machining and welding property with hot dipped galvanizing, and can be cold bending, punching etc, and has good appearance as well.
Otherwise, as the specific gravity of Aluminum is smaller than that of Zinc, the specific gravity of Aluminum Zinc alloy is only 3.7kg/dm3, and for zinc is 7.1kg/dm3, so on the condition of the same coating thickness, the Aluminum Zinc alloy is lighter, which saves the expensive coating layer metal.
